This is when I went cross-country skiing for the first time, at Frost Valley, New York (Jan. 2000). And the picture is a girl I drew with an ink pen - she's crying because her pretend grandma just died. [Sarah's "grandma" Kaye Brown passed away in Portland, Oregon, in March 2000.]
